Comfort Keepers® of Flemington, NJ is PROUD to announce Josephine A. is our "Comfort Keeper of the Quarter!"

Josephine is a New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) and has been with the Comfort Keepers family for over four years as a live-in caregiver. Congratulations Josephine!

She is one of the most caring, patient and dedicated caregivers working with us. She is skilled in all aspects of caring for her clients and is willing to learn about any specialized equipment or procedures needed. She has the knowledge, understanding, and experience to care for clients with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Not only does Josephine help her clients with their personal needs and keeps their homes clean and tidy, but she also knows how important it is to take the time and listen to what her clients have to say. Her calming presence reflects her intelligence, trustworthiness, competence, and confidence.

All of her clients and their family members enjoy and appreciate her. Her clients’ smiles reflect the care and attention that Josephine gives them.

Meet Our Comfort Keepers Caregivers

Client Care Coordinator

Entry Level


Comfort Keepers of Flemington, New Jersey is growing and expanding. Under the general supervision of the Owner / Director of Nursing and / or the Senior Client Care Coordinator, provides continuity of care for clients after the referral.  Facilitates the provision of in-home care and support services to clients.  Arranges for the uninterrupted continuing care of the client. Assists in the organization of family resources for the effective care of the client.  Routinely interacts with other personnel as well as clients, family members, community providers/ referral sources, insurance companies, care managers, and other third party payers.

High School diploma or GED and at least two years experience in a health care setting.

Experience in coordinating health care preferred. Valid driver’s license with valid auto insurance.  Must pass federal, state and county background checks along with a motor vehicle check. Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as positive professional, business image.  Outstanding PC knowledge.


Essential Functions:

  • Taking accurate referral/service requests over the phone.


  • Responsible for Initial Home Assessment which determines the type of service and duration of services necessary to meet client needs. Quotes bill rate based on service provided. The Initial Home Assessment may be scheduled in evenings and weekends.


  • Establishes initial client records and maintains all client records until services end.


  • Visits clients to keep abreast of client’s condition and environment at least monthly.


  • Match caregiver qualifications and availability to clients need for new and existing clients.


  • Supervises caregivers and completes performance appraisals for caregivers at specified intervals. Interviews potential new caregivers.


  • Contacts clients (Six Month Plan of Care) and caregivers for follow-up on service delivery and determine satisfaction of services.


  • Serves as a liaison between the client, caregiver, scheduler and human resources coordinator.


  • Assures the client needs are adequately addresses at all times.


  • Enters client / caregiver information accurately in the Comfort Keepers web based scheduling system. Also, updates system with client or caregiver changes immediately.


  • May serve on committees and participate in the development of systems to improve care coordination.


  • Participates in on-call rotation as assigned.


  • Communicates via email or phone with the Comfort Keepers office staff on any issue pertaining to the company.


  • May interface with other community resources to assure that client needs are adequately addressed.


  • Responsible to drive live-in caregivers to and from train station as needed at anytime.


  • Must be a team player.

Must meet or exceed the minimum qualifications for the following: Federal, State and County  Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, and Professional and Personal Record Checks.


Salaried (Entry Level), Matching 401(K), 10 paid vacation days and 6 paid holidays after six months from date of employment. Shared company vehicle (2016 Honda Civic) available for work related use.
